Brett Kavanaugh is an American attorney, he is 53 years old. He was born in D.C. He was raised in Bethesda, Maryland. He got his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the law school in Yale University.
Brett Kavanaugh has spent more time in government jobs than private practice. He clerked for Judge Kozinski. He also served as the assistant to the white house staff secretary in 2003 when George Bush was President. In July, 2003, President George Bush nominated Brett to the States Court of Appeal for the D.C circuit. This caused a lot of argument in the senate. Brett was confirmed three years after.
In July 2018, President Donald Trump announced his intent to nominate Brett Kavanaugh for a seat in the Supreme Court.
