Most likely Burning Man could not be defined as an occult festival especially the largest occult festival. Burning Man claims that they are not a festival, but instead a community that is located in Black Rock Desert in Nevada. The community only takes place at the end of the summer when Burning Man occurs. Occult can best be described as a group that practices magic and phenomenon.
However, Burning Man can’t be described as an occult since it does not necessarily focus on magic. Instead, it focuses on art and self-expression. However, Burning Man is one of the largest get togethers in the country, but there are festivals that are just as large and they are considered festivals, so they may be America’s largest occult festival, not Burning Man.
