Many diet centers have green salad recipes for their clients to use because it is such a good meal or side dish to have because not only is it good for you but it has very few calories. One way to make a green salad would be to get a large head of lettuce or other green leafy vegetable like spinach. Cut the lettuce or leafy greens into bite-size pieces on a cutting board.
Then take the other vegetables that will go in it like carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers. Each vegetable should be cut into smaller pieces on a cutting board. Add all of these things into a big bowl. Then mix all of the ingredients together. Add salad dressing to it if you want to.
