After World War II, many Nazi leaders fled Europe and were able to make their way to other countries where they were friendly and accepted by their leaders. One of those leaders was from Argentina. The Perons were believed to have helped escaped Nazi officials who ran away after the war so that they would not have to face war crimes. This movie is about officials from Israel who are searching for Adolf Eichmann.
This search took place many years after the end of the war in 1960. This movie is based on a true story because it really happened. One of the Israeli officers wrote a book about his experience trying to find Eichmann in Argentina. The movie was shot in Argentina.
