What do you know about progressive era? Also, what things were prohibited during this era?

The progressive era is called as such because this is the time when political reform became highly popular in the United States. People became social activists because they have different things that they are fighting for. There were different problems that occurred during this era which is the 1920s.

The urbanization at that time started to become highly problematic because it was still new. Corruption also started to become recognized by the people and they wanted to put a stop to it. One prominent thing that was prohibited back then was alcohol. They have believed that alcoholic beverages have caused a lot of problems among people.
