Ventriloquism is known to be an entertaining act that people can watch right now but do you know that it used to be a religious practice? The voice that ventriloquists use is said to come from the stomach. The Greeks used to believe that these are the voices of those who are not living anymore. It is up to the ventriloquist to decipher what the messages of the undead are.

As more time passed on, people started realizing that it may be similar to witchcraft so it was banned. Those who practice it were thought to be witches and killed. As time passed by, it was started again but this time, it is used mainly for entertainment purposes.
