It can be surprising for some people that Aretha Franklin actually appeared in some films. A lot of people are accustomed to seeing her on television to sing. People have flocked to her concerts to watch and listen to her perform her songs flawlessly. Yet, there were moments when she already appeared in movies. She first appeared in The Blues Brothers.
This was in the year 1980. After that, she appeared in Blues Brothers 2000 in the year 1988. Lastly, she appeared in the movie Muscle Shoals. This movie was shown in the year 2013. Despite the few movie appearances, it cannot be denied that Aretha is still one of the most popular singers of all time.
