Stress can affect a person’s confidence level and this has been proven by several scientific studies. When under stress, a person will tend to feel less confident and want to avoid social situations and resist taking part in risk adverse situations. These studies have also shown when under stress, people get more anxious and therefore less competitive.
When under chronic stress, another study has shown people “lose sight of his or her goals while lapsing back into habits”. All these studies were conducted by observing and documenting the behaviors and brain activity by stress triggered enzymes and other substances.
