My favorite easy sweet dishes to make are called dump cakes because they only require three ingredients and they’re very tasty. To make a chocolate cherry dump cake all you need is a box of chocolate cake mix, two 21 ounce cans of cherry pie filling and ¾ of a cup of melted butter. You put the pie filling in the bottom of the pan, sprinkle with the cake mix and cover with melted butter. You can make many variations of this recipe.
For example, you can use peach pie filling with a vanilla or French vanilla cake mix. You can also use strawberry pie filling with a white cake mix. You can use whatever combination of flavors you think you would like.
