To make recycling more effective we need to develop new technologies and methods for those products that are currently hard-to-recycle or non-recyclable. And I believe the manufacturers of products like this should play a major role in finding a solution.
At the same time, all manufacturers in general need to focus on reducing and reusing materials needed to make their products. The less materials they need to use at the beginning of the manufacturing process, the less material that will need to be disposed of at the end of the products’ useful life.
