The correct answer is “Drives.”
“John's mom DRIVES him home from school most days.” The tense used to complete this sentence is a simple present tense. The simple present tense is used when an action is happening at the moment it occurs regularly, such as every day, week, month, or year.
In these cases, the action occurs regularly since John’s mom drives him to school MOST DAYS. Also, we used “DRIVES” because John’s mom is a third-person singular and in this case, “s” was added to the verb.
Other examples of simple present tenses include:
Mary plays the piano every Sunday.
John loves cookies
Mrs. Doe teaches mathematics.
Kate goes to school every morning.
