Yes. The gameplay in Uncharted, regarding shooting, plays like a typical third-person cover shooter. For example, in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, you press circle to take cover, then depress the left trigger to come out from cover into aiming mode and then squeeze the trigger to shoot. It is a bit too complicated. Taking cover, for instance, is frustrating because you are at the mercy of the game-deciding what happens next.
This leaves you vulnerable and open to having enemies fire at you. There is also practically nothing protecting you from enemies shooting because you still get hit while dodging. Most of the weapons of the game are less than thrilling to fire because they feel so underpowered, which can make the player feel very helpless.
