Probably not. Do you want her to like you for what you give? No. Anyway, it starts a pattern with gifts coming on all sorts of anniversaries, events etc until the whole thing becomes meaningless. If you're really keen on a girl and you've met a couple of times, you might bring a flower - not a red rose - because you thought it might please her and you thought it beautiful. the first date shoud be tentative, gentle, a finding out of shared interests. The exception would be if it's her birthday, but even then, it seems a bit presumptuous on a first date.
