Magnetic tape, Magnetic disk, Main memory, Cache, Registers. Also known as access time or access delay, access latency is the time it takes for an electronic system to recieve a request and then for the sysem to complete the request.

Access latency occurs in many systems. In a telecommunications system, it is the delay between an attempt to access and the time it takes for the access to be successful. Access latency also occurs in computer systems and is the time between an instruction for data or to store data occurs and the time it takes to deliver the data.

What is the access latency? This is something that you need to know first before you start answering the question. Access latency refers to the time or the delay that may occur when you use an electronic system. It will take some time for some items before the request can be rightfully completed.

The arrangement will be magnetic tape first, the magnetic disk, the main memory, cache, and finally, registers. The arrangement will be different if the items would need to be arranged from the highest access latency to the lowest. It would be registers, cache, main memory, magnetic disk, and finally, magnetic tape.
