For me, Paris is the city of love. Growing up, I always saw films and television shows set in Paris. They would show couples going there for engagements and wedding anniversaries. It has beautiful scenery and many landmarks associated with love. My favorite is the Eiffel Tower.
Many propose to their partners, and some come back for engagement photos. I want to go one day with my husband to take pictures in front of it. They also have a Wall of Love, which has over 300 declarations of love on it. Other cultures also see it is a city of love because the declarations are written in over 200 different languages.
A lot of people say that the city of love has to be in Paris but I have to disagree. I have heard so many people say that they expected Paris to be so much more than what they have experienced while they were there. They have noticed that the place seems to be lonely and a bit gloomy.
Life there is slow-paced as compared to the other places in the world. My city of love has to be San Francisco. This is where I have seen a lot of people fall in love. Some of my friends have fallen in love with the city and with each other the moment that they stayed there. There must be something about the city that people have not realized yet.
