Serena Williams born September 26 1981 is certainly one of the best female tennis player to ever play tennis. She is a strong and powerful player. Serena has won 23 grand slam singles titles. This is the highest record of grand slam titles both in men and women tennis. Serena and her sister Venus, have won 14 grand slam double titles.
She has over 72 career titles. Serena won the 2017 Australian Open while she was pregnant, this shows how powerful she is. Steffi Graf was also a great play in her era. Graf retired in 1999. She was the first player both in men and women tennis to achieve the calendar year golden slam ( winning the four major tournament and winning a gold medal in Olympics in the same year).
