There are quite a few ways that today’s feminism differs from old school feminism. One way is that today there are many feminist role models to emulate including women in politics (Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren) music (Beyoncé) and sports (Serena Williams). Another way today’s feminism differs from old school feminism is that it is more inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning individuals.
Also today’s feminism movement is much more global thanks to technology that has allowed women to connect with and help each other. For example, the Women’s March in January of 2017 had “600 sister marches happening on all 7 continents at the same time”.
