There are actually a lot of cartoons that appeal to adults more as compared to kids. For example, the Ren and Stimpy Show is something that not all kids will appreciate especially since it is a bit gross. Adults will like the show’s humor. The Family Guy is another cartoon that will be appreciated by adults more as compared to kids probably because of the jokes that are used on the show.
They can be too mature for kids. SpongeBob SquarePants is a cartoon that is liked by both kids and adults. Some kids like it because SpongeBob seems to be a fun character. Some adults love it because they can relate to Squidward the most.
