Quokkas are found on Rottnest Island, just off of Perth and on Bald Island near Albany. These areas are located in the Southwest regions of Australia. These cute little animals may seem like a great pet but are far from it. They can’t be housebroken, are nocturnal, have razor-sharp claws, and need tons of space. While they might be the world’s cutest animal, don’t try to touch one either.
Authorities have been known to slap a $300 fine on anyone even attempting to pet these adorable, happy marsupials. Oh and, if you really think you want to try stealing one, these cute little buddies are just using you for food.
