The female donkey is also known as a jenny. There are also some people who refer to the female donkey as a jennet. The young donkey is called a foal. There are some donkey mixes too which means that its parents may not be both donkeys. For example, mules are half horses and half donkeys.

This is usually achieved by mating male horses with female donkeys. There are also some that are half stallion and half donkeys. The offspring will be called a hinny. This is achieved by mating a stallion with a female donkey which, as mentioned earlier, is called a jenny.

The female donkey is called Jenny or jennet. So the next time you see a female donkey approaching, you do not need to say, "oh wow, look at that female donkey." You just look and say, "Jenny is approaching us." The donkey, which is also referred to as ass with the scientific name Equus Africanus asinus, is a domestic animal and a member of the horse family scientifically called Equidae.

The donkey has a wild animal as an ancestor, it is called the African wild ass, and it has the scientific name, E. African us. For thousands of years, the donkey has been in use as a working animal. We have over forty million donkeys in existence all over the world.

The bulk of their populace is in underdeveloped countries, where they are used mainly as draught or pack animals. Small numbers of donkeys are kept for breeding or as pets in developed countries.

The correct answer to this question is Jenny. This is the name that is most commonly used in reference to female donkeys. Another name that is used to describe female donkeys is the word Jennet. On the contrary, male donkeys are called Jacks.

Most people just refer to them as female and male animals because the names can become confusing when calling the animals those names. When stallions are joined together with the jenny's for reproduction, this, in turn, creates a hinny. As those names are very similar to one another, most tend to stick with the common gender names, as they are easier to remember.

The term for a female donkey is “Jenny.” Some would also call the female donkey as “Jennet.” If you would like to know the name of a male donkey, it is called a “Jack.” You will not call the baby donkey as baby jenny or baby jack. Rather, you would call the baby donkey as a foal.

Take note that there are a lot of jack donkeys that are normally allowed to mate with female horses in order to create a different breed.

A female donkey is termed a jenny or sometimes a jennet. Female birds may also be referred to as jennies. A male donkey is recognized as a jack or ass, and a young donkey is a foal. Donkeys belong to the horse group, and the wild forerunner of the donkey is the African Wild ass.

There are more than 40 million donkeys in the world. Most of the time, they reside in underdeveloped countries where they are utilized as draught or pack animals. Working donkeys are typically only found in these countries. Jack donkeys are often used to mate with female horses to create mules. As domestic donkeys are increasing, the African wild ass is an endangered animal. Donkeys continue to fulfill an essential role in many places today.

The term for a female monkey is called the “jenny.” Some people may refer to this as a “jennet.” There are also some females that are also called “molly mules.” You need to be familiar with the different terms especially if this is something that you are interested in.

Take note that there are also different terms that are available for the different offspring of the horse and the donkey. For example, they would call the male horse and female donkey as jennet. This type of offspring is considered to be rare. Not all of the jennets are able to survive. The offspring of a male and female donkey is called a “foal.”

The female donkey is called a Jenny. Some people also call their female donkeys Jennet. If you need to refer to the male donkey, this will be called a Jack. There are a lot of people who get confused with all of the names that can be used to call various animals, so people refer to the animals as a female animal or male animal.

The Jack donkeys usually are used for breeding with female horses because this will help produce mules. If in case the stallion will be reproduced with the jenny, the term for their offspring will be hinny. This can be very confusing for a lot of people.

The female donkey is called a jenny. A male donkey, on the other hand, is called a jack. There are a lot of people who get confused about what they should call the different animals that they encounter. If you would need to call a female horse or a male horse, the names will also be different.

There are some people who may get confused with what they would call other animals so people just say female donkey or male donkey so that they will not get confused anymore. Another thing that you may get confused with is the term “burros.” This also means donkey but in Spanish.
