Adjective is a word that qualifies a noun, noun phrases, pronouns and other adjectives. It gives more information about a noun. Example: colour: blue. In a sentence: Mary has a blue car. Adjectives can be descriptive, demonstrative, quantitative, possessive, interrogative and distributive.
An adverb is use to qualify or modify a verb, adjective and other adverb. Adverb usually end in - ly. Examples are: quickly, kindly, slowly. In a sentence: Williams sings loudly.
