I’m not really sure why cappuccino is more expensive than regular coffee. Perhaps it is because cappuccino needs more ingredients and a more complex brewer but neither of these reasons seems to be enough justification for the increased cost. Cappuccino is typically made from expresso, steamed milk, and milk foam in contrast to regular coffee that is just made from ground coffee beans.
The expresso used to make cappuccino is also made from ground coffee beans but the beans are generally ground much finer and packed more tightly. Some people like to add to their cappuccino a dusting of ground chocolate, cocoa powder, cinnamon, or nutmeg.
