Someone who has Machiavellianism will have the tendency to become very manipulative. Their motivation for the things that they do is self-gain. Those who are narcissists would like to become manipulative so that they can feel better about themselves. They do this in order to feel that they are the best of the rest. Those with Machiavellianism may be very subtle about the things that they are doing.

They do not care if they would step on other people just to reach their goals. Narcissists are great pretenders. They are also not very realistic about the things that they want to achieve. Their egos are so inflated that they do not realize that some things are possible. Machievallists are realists but cunning
