It depends. The narcissist's sense of self was not developed beyond that of a young child and cannot cope with a truth that shows them to be less than perfect. A narcissist also doesn’t often take criticism well. Before you consider confronting the narcissist about their behavior, take a look at what you hope to get out of the interaction.

If you are in pursuit of some equality in the relationship, you are probably better off just moving on. Generally, when confronted or judged, narcissists tend to resort to rage or even denial. Most narcissists believe that they are perfect. They do not want to be held accountable for their actions.
