This depends on your choice and what you think is best for you. In the past, violin strings were made using sheep intestines wrapped with silver or copper wire but it is no longer common in today’s era. However, some violinists still prefer them over other types of violin strings because of the warm and complex tone they produce.

Many violinist preferred strings made from metal because metal strings produce a bright and full sound when played.

Synthetic strings are also another type of strings commonly used on violin; they are made from nylon and other materials. The best violin string will depend on your needs, the tone quality you prefer and your playing level.

The best type of violin strings will depend on your playing level and needs, as well as the tonal qualities you prefer. Different violins respond better to different string types. Metal strings, for instance, are a trendy choice for violinists because they exude a bright, full sound when played with proper technique. These strings are favored because of their volume ability and durability.

Synthetic core violin strings are made of nylon material called Perlon, which gives the strings a better sounding quality. These strings are much easier to tune compared to the other kinds. They also stabilize faster after being replaced, and they generally have a better sound quality. Synthetic core strings are the world's most popular strings. A new phenomenon is violin strings made of spider silk. These strings have a unique sound and brilliant tone.
