The countries with the lowest average IQ scores are Equatorial Guinea, Cameron, Mozambique, Saint Lucia, The Gambia, The Republic of Congo, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Liberia, Haiti and Gabon.
All of these countries have an average IQ of less than 70. Most of the countries with low average IQ scores are African countries; this is mainly because of the high rate of disease burdens in this region.
Other factors that can lead to low IQ scores are poverty, poor education, malnutrition, lack of sanitation and the climatic condition of a place. The countries listed above suffer from some of these factors that can cause the average IQ to be low.
