Cancer is known to be a disease that is considered a major burden not only on people’s finances but also on their bodies. There are millions of people who are diagnosed with this disease and half of these people die from it. It is evident that this has become more common over the past years.
This may be because people are already familiar with it. One thing is for sure though, this is the second most common cause of death among people right now. Cardiovascular disease is still the number one reason but this is a close second. People are recommended to get tested immediately and to not ignore the warning signs for early diagnosis and treatment.
Cancer can be considered more common in today’s era as it was in the past. Why is this so? Cancer is a caused by a genetic mutation. When the genes undergo a mutation because of different reasons, cancer can occur. There are a lot more viruses and possible causes of cancer now that exist in this world.
Even viruses can cause genetic mutations and as we all know, viruses have become stronger over the past years. The constant exposure of people to carcinogens is also a big problem that people should be aware of. A more common cause of cancer is smoking but people do not realize that obesity can also be a cause of cancer.
