A coincidence means something that happens unexpectedly and unplanned. Although many people think they do not exist, I personally believe that coincidences are a part of life. Part of the reason why I believe in coincidences is because I have experienced them for myself in life.
Many times, you end up running into a friend that you never meant to meet, simply because it was a coincident that they visited the same restaurant as you did. Different people call it by different names but we certainly believe they are real and meant to happen. Many things in life are attributed to coincidence.
The reason that I believe in coincidences is that I have experienced it before and many times during the course of my life. One good example would be thinking about a person and then all of a sudden them calling you on the telephone or you happening to bump into them at the store or driving along the highway.
Another example where I have experienced coincidence is going somewhere several hours away and bumping into someone that you have not seen in a very long time. There are so many other incidents where I have come face to face with coincidence that there are too many instances to name and remember.
You can call it what you want. Coincidence is real. If it was meant to happen then the only thing that can be said is that it was meant to happen. Any way you put it, it is conicidence and you cannot deny it whenever it happens and you come face to face with it.
