There are a lot of people who feel that digital cameras are modern and would be able to take amazing photos in space but actually, in order to take great photos in space, film cameras are still more reliable. There are different film cameras that can be used.
For example, when the picture of the moon was taken, the Hasselblad 500EL cameras were used. There are also Nikon film cameras that were used in order to take pictures of the other heavenly bodies that are available in outer space. Aside from the film cameras, there were also some special tools that were used such as wide-angle lenses, fisheyes, and so much more.
You cannot expect digital cameras to work in space because of the radiation that you can find there. It will stop the cameras from working. There are also some solvents and moisture that may evaporate into space so it will not work at all. If you would like to have a camera that will still work, you need to use a film camera instead.
Film cameras do not rely on air pressure. This means that they will work in space the same way that they work on earth. If you are planning to go to outer space which is not yet possible for regular citizens right now, make sure to bring film cameras so you can take amazing pictures of the world outside earth.
