Photography certainly is not a declining industry. If anything can be said about the photography industry is that it is only getting bigger and better. One has to look at it this way. Pictures are needed for books, magazines, and newspapers. The big thing today is the internet and if there were not any pictures for the internet, then going online would serve no purpose. Anybody can get into the world of photography these days.
A person can go out and take a picture and then download it to the internet and have thousands to millions of people be able to see the photo. You certainly cannot say that photography is a declining industry. Photos dominate our world and the future of our world will certainly revolve around the use and implementation of photos. There will always be a need for photographers so that saying, photography is not a declining industry and one that will only get stronger for many more years to come.
We can say that photography is not declining in today’s age for a number of reasons. First is we are now living in the digital era where people rely too much on technology to connect with people. We love sending photos to our loved ones to make them feel they are loved and to update them on our life.
Second is taking pictures is much easier compared to the previous decades. We can easily take thousands of photos as compared to before we need to bring a handful of film rolls for a trip. And lastly, today, people love taking good photos of their hometown or a country they visit and share it on social media. So we cannot say that the photography industry is declining at the moment.
