Photography has evolved into a business. Today, photography forms a major part of any event. Yes, it is time demanding and energy consuming. However, you can certainly build a career in photography. There is a lot of profit and once you understand the technicality behind the photos and how to edit them, the profit starts rolling in. With the internet boom, there is not much you need either.
All you need is a blog of some sample pictures you took. Put it up and promote yourself on social media. You are good to go. There are special campaigns in place also that can help you reach you audience. For a small amount, you can easily popularize yourself.
If I were dedicated enough and willing to sacrifice the time and energy I would most certainly be able to make a career in the world of photography. The internet certainly allows for anyone and everyone to be able to make a solid and profitable career out of being a photographer.
These days all a person has to do is make a blog of their pictures and promote it to various publications. Then there are the numerous online magazines and print publications who are constantly in need of photographers. The great thing to know is that there plenty of job opportunities out there for photographers.
One could work for a company or they could simply work on their own as a freelancer. For that reason, if I wanted to make a career in the world of photography I could do it and the great thing is that it would be a very rewarding career choice.
