Outside of the American rural states, the power held by the US President, and that president being Donal Trump is greatly feared. Whether he is a danger to the constitution rather depends on the morals of the Senate. If they are willing to curb the wishes of their erratic and risk-taking president their actions should put a brake on Trump's actions, if not his words.
If, however, the Senate puts more emphasis on their own role safety and the assurance of Republicans remaining in power in the higher house, then the constitution is at risk. Only those around Trump can prevent the most damaging of his actions.
The American Constitution has been well-regarded for years but with Trump as president, some people are saying that he is an actual threat to the constitution. Ever since Trump got elected, a lot of people had less faith in the United States as compared to before. It seems that people even from the outside USA do not think that the constitution can be respected since they do not trust the leader who is supposedly handling them all.
There is a continuous threat to democracy. The time may come when people will not be allowed to say anything bad about the president. The free will to speak your thoughts and beliefs might go downhill.
