Abortion is considered to be legal in the US. Even up to now, there are some groups who are hoping that abortion will start to become illegal. They are protesting what they say is the merciless killing of an unborn child. There are still some laws that are being followed when it comes to abortion.
Those who are already in their third trimester are not allowed to go through abortion anymore. A baby that is born alive whether it is full-term or not should be killed. When abortion becomes banned, this will signify that women’s human rights are being violated. It will be their call if they want to get their child aborted because the father has already abandoned them.
Take note that not all states in America have legalized abortion. There are still some states that believe that abortion is a sin. People who would like to get an abortion may travel from one state to another just to make the process happen. There are rules that would have to be followed before a woman is allowed to undergo the abortion. Take note that partial-birth abortion or abortion in the late stages of pregnancy is not allowed.
There are millions of abortions that take place in the world every year and only a small percentage of that is the partial-birth abortion. A lot of people just find abortion very disturbing because of the loss of human life even if the child was still young.
