Technically, yes. A terrorist, by definition, is a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians in the pursuit of a political aim. It is when a political goal is achieved through extreme, deliberate violence against citizens. An example of terrorism is the enforcement of UN sanctions against Iraq.
Political goal was to undermine Saddam’s regime and get him to fall in line. Hundreds of innocent civilians perished as a result. Although violence is demonstrated by military means, it does not change the fact that the US military helped to bar Iraq citizens from importing goods forcefully.
There are some people who believe that the US army is like a terrorist organization. They believe that the US army is following its own path in order to dominate the world. There are also other organizations who say that if in case the US army will be proven to be a terrorist organization, they would be treated exactly like ISIS. This is one conspiracy theory that people believe in so much that they have even created a group on Facebook stating that the US army is a terrorist organization.
There are some people who have already liked this page. This means that they also have this belief. The reason why people have this belief is that they feel that a lot of innocent people have already been killed by the US army.
