Some people consider blacks, Asians, Hispanics, to be inferior to whites, which is because of white supremacy. While the essence of the views held by average Americans has changed over the past several decades, there are still a fair amount of prejudices.
Most of the attitudes concerning black America are perpetuated from poverty and inequality, which is the result of centuries of institutional racism. With debt, crime is prevalent, and many blacks live in desperate poverty. Racism is deeply rooted in America's history. It has been a significant issue since the colonial era and the slave era.
There are Americans who are racist and there are some who are not. It is not correct to say that Americans as a whole are racists because some of them are not. The racism may have occurred because of their history. A lot of light-skinned Americans think that they are better than those who are dark-skinned. It is a good thing that there are those who managed to rise up from all of the oppression that they have received.
Black Americans started to prove that they can be popular too. They have proved that they can be good at what they do. White Americans now treat some Black Americans as demi-gods. There are just some Americans who assume that they are better just because of how they look.
