"Under Pressure" is a song from 1981 performed by Queen and singer, David Bowie. The song played live at every Queen concert from 1981 until the end of Queen's touring career in 1986. David Bowie originally came to the studios to sing backing vocals on another Queen song, "Cool Cat."
He was not satisfied with his contribution, and his vocals were removed from the track. Although it was a collective project, only Queen used the song in their live shows at that time. Bowie did choose not to perform the song before an audience until 1992 at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. Since Mercury's death, Bowie started playing the song at almost every one of his live shows.
