Julius Caesar was a leader who was born on or near July 12, 100 BC and died on the Ides of March 44 BC. Therefore, by the time he died, Caesar was 56 years old. He is past the age of having children. He was married to Cornelia from 84 BC to 69 BC. Then he married Pompeia from 67 BC to 61 BC.
His last marriage was to Calpurnia from 59 BC to 44 BC when he was assassinated. He had three children total from his marriages. Two of his children he had biologically and the other child he adopted most likely from one of his wives. His oldest was Julia Caesaris. She was born to Julius Caesar and Cornelia. She was born about 76 BC.
Caesar had two biological children and one adopted child. His eldest child, Julius Caesar was born around 76 BC to Julius Caesar and his wife, Cornelia Cinna. He had a second biological child, Caesarian with Cleopatra in 47 BC. He adopted his last child, his great-nephew, Octavian (who was later known as Augustus).
Octavian became the first Roman emperor. His other children did not have triumphant endings. Julia was married off to Caesar's nemesis, and she died during labor. Caesarian died after the civil war between Octavian and Marc Antony.
