Julius Caesar was a real person who lived during ancient Roman times. He was a leader of the people. His life also became a play and a story, so some people don’t realize that there are two things when talking about Julius Caesar. They may only realize that Julius Caesar was only a play and they think it is fiction.
Instead, it is also about a real-life person. Julius Caesar fought in wars as a military general and then became a leader to Rome. However, those citizens who worked with Caesar went against him without him knowing it. They conspired against him in secret. Then they killed him. His best friend was amongst the conspirators, so it came as a surprise to Julius Caesar.
Iwonder whether you mean what Julius Caesar the real man was about, a matter for Roman history, or whether you are referring to the play "Julius Caesar", and asking for a description of the plot. I will assume the latter. This play tracks the events that follow Caesar's triumphal march. He has defeated Pompey's sons.
A soothsayer warns him, but Caesar continues his march. Brutus and Cassius, intimates of Caesar, worry that he is acting like a god, but is only a man. The cheering crowd appears to want him to be king, but Brutus says this will overturn the republic. Despite being told that Caesar thrice refused the crown when it was offered, a plot is hatched to kill Caesar.
