There are many colleges and universities that offer cosmology or astronomy as a degree. Usually, colleges and universities need a doctorate program for interested applicants. This is because jobs usually require that high of a degree in astronomy or cosmology. There is a list produced by U.S. News and World Report that denotes the top ten schools that offer the best programs in astronomy and cosmology related to relativity and gravity.
These include Princeton University as the best in Princeton, New Jersey. The second best is California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California. Some of the other colleges that are outside the United States include Tsinghua University located in China as well as Sapienza University of Rome in Italy. These are considered the best.
