Assassin’s Creed Odessey is like many of the AC games and is set in a time of ancient Greece. This was declared at the E3 convention. Ubisoft developers explained the entire setting of assassin’s creed. Basically, the entire game is set in 41 BC.

This can be related to the time when the ancient Greece culture was slowly emerging. In the game, the Polypenesian war is in its full flare and the warriors and fighters are descendent from different parts of Greece. You can also choose between male and female fighters according to preference.

The timeline of the Greek empire that is set in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is from the days of ancient Greece. The reason that one is able to determine this is that it was announced during the recent E3 convention and the game developer in Ubisoft made an announcement to the effect. It was there that Ubisoft representatives and developers officially stated that the setting of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey was in the year of 431 BC which certainly falls in line with the days and the emergence of the culture of ancient Greece.

The Polypenesian War is taking place during the setting of the game and it allows for a player to be able to choose warriors and fighters from different regions of ancient Greece such as Sparta. It also allows for a player to be able to choose between male and female fighters to play with. It certainly is setting up for a well recieved game and one that should get a lot of hype coming towards the end of this year.
