The World Cup for 2018 will take place in Russia. Only thirty-two will qualify to participate in the World Cup. These teams were divided into groups of four and these groups of four play each other. The 32 teams that qualified included Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia and Uruguay.
Certain notable teams did not qualify for the World Cup which are United States, Chile and Italy. They would not have qualified for the Round of 16. The teams that did not qualify are Australia, Costa Rica, Egypt, Germany, Iceland, Iran, Morocco, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, South Korea and Tunisia.
