How far will Portugal go with Ronaldo's help?

Ronaldo is possibly the most famous soccer player in the world. He is from Portugal and plays for the Portuguese national team. He plays the position of forward. Along with Messi, he is considered to be the best player in the world. Even though Portugal isn’t considered to be a powerhouse like Brazil and Spain, it does have the best soccer player in the world. However, one player can’t win the championship by himself.

The rest of the team must be able to play well together. Portugal has won a few friendlies in 2018 prior to the World cup but they also lost or tied just as many. With Ronaldo, they would probably make it past the group and probably won’t make it to the next level.

It was in the year 2016 when people were shocked that Portugal was able to win the 2016 EuroCup. People did not think of it much at that time. Two years have passed and there are more players that can support the strength of Ronaldo. This means that the team will not rely only on Ronaldo to score goals. It would be a team effort and they have a higher chance of being one of the top teams that may win.

As of now, there are only speculations about how far the team would go. It will depend on so many factors such as their opponents, the weather condition when they play, and so much more.
