Mexico is known for soccer. Unlike other countries, this sport is the most important to them. The United States seems to favor football and Canada favors hockey. That allows Mexico to have more famous soccer players. Usually, the most famous soccer players of any team are the forwards because they score the goals. Therefore, their names become more popular.
The most famous players on the Mexican team includes the forwards, Henry Martin, Angel Zaldivar and Alan Pulido. Pulido and Zaldivar are from Guadalajara and Martin is from America. From all time, the most famous player from the Mexican soccer team is most likely Hugo Sanchez. He scored the most goals in Europe compared to other players from Mexico. He won awards too.
It will not be easy for Mexico to become the winners of World Cup series but with their roster for 2018’s World Cup, they aim to make a huge difference. Some of the famous players are the following: Jesus “Tecatito” Corona. Some say that he is not very consistent but he has a lot of fans and they all believe that he can make a difference with Mexico’s chances of penetrating the World Cup.
Another famous player is Javier Hernandez who is considered to have the talent in order to do well. Hirving Lozano is also another famous face especially since he is being considered as the breakout star right now.
