Why are donkeys considered as dumb animals?

There are many animals that are perceived in one way but are actually quite different. They appear dumb, but they are actually very smart animals.

There are people who say that donkeys are dumb animals but this is not true. There are some facts that prove that donkeys may actually be very smart. They have the tendency to think more rationally as compared to horses. This is the reason why they do not immediately become startled or scared. Donkeys also have the natural tendency to remember the places that they have been to.

This means that they can go back to certain places if they would need to. Donkeys also have the tendency to make their own decisions based on what they think is proper and right. They might make decisions when they are curious but they will always put their safety in mind.
