Like most video games, a movie or set of movies are created in order to make more money. In this case, the same can be said. After people became addicted to playing the different types of Pokemon games, movies were created based on the characters and plot included in the games. There are a total of twenty-one movies or films using the Pokemon characters and they are all titled Pokemon.
The movies are all set in the same places depending on their plot. The latest movies involve Ash Ketchum. He can become a trainer in Pokemon. This Pokemon movie is called Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You! And was released in 2017. Ash loves exploring and adventures and wants to get going on his next adventure.
There are some movies released that just manage to confuse people who have loved the series of the movie so much. Pokemon is just one of them and the movie’s setting is already a bit confusing to people because they do not know if the setting has happened before or after the original setting of the series.
The universe is pretty much the same but it is the timeline that can be considered a bit confusing. A lot of people choose not to dwell too much on the timeline because they know that they would only end up getting confused with the whole thing. Some say that the Pokemon movie has its own universe.
