Unova region is part of Pokemon and is located in the Pokemon world. It is quite distant from the other regions in the Pokemon world. Unova is similar in appearance to that of New York City. It has similar landmarks and the layout of the land is similar to New York City. By using a region that is similar to New York City, I don’t believe that it is responsible for spoiling Generation 5 Pokemon.
Instead, I believe it is the new characters that were introduced that spoiled the Generation 5 Pokemon. Usually, it is expected that a new game in the series should include more useful characters and in this case, it doesn’t. It has characters that may look good, but there are other characters that are more useful.
There are a lot of people who enjoy Pokemon games but they have to admit that they do not like the Unova region that much. This is a region that is far from the first four regions. This alone is enough to make people a bit skeptical about the Pokemon they will find. True enough, the Pokemon that were first shown to gamers were all new.
This is a move that not everyone appreciated especially those who have always loved different Pokemon games. As the gameplay improved though, people liked the region more. Some just do not like Gen V of Pokemon because of the characters - the Pokemon that they were able to find.
