Serena is a character on the Pokemon series. She is a performer and is considered to be a friend of Ash or a traveling companion of his. She was introduced first in Kalos. She got her first Pokemon from Professor Sycamore. Serena has done a lot of things in her time. She has changed her outfits during the middle of the series and is the only one to do so.
Another thing that is important about Serena is that she is somewhat infatuated with Ash. Therefore, I do think it is likely that Serena will return to the Pokemon anime because of all of her contributions and firsts that she has done throughout the times that she has been on the Pokemon games.
Last April, Pokemon brought back Serena in the anime world and a lot of people immediately became happy. Serena first appeared as the girl that Ash met through summer camp. She was so forgettable thought that Ash did not remember her in the beginning. It is evident that the summer camp was more emotional for Serena as compared to Ash. Perhaps Ash just does not think of girls as his priority.
Nevertheless, a lot of Pokemon fans were elated when Serena was brought back for a while. If the character would make a few more comebacks in the next episodes, then people would either be happy or would not care at all. Some people are not too fond of this character.
