What is agroforestry?

Agroforestry is defined as any agriculture that centers around the conservation of trees. There is a full business to the conservation of trees since there are a lot of reasons to keep trees alive. If trees do not regrow, that’s less for us to use as paper for books, magazines, etc. when the recycled ones aren’t enough for demand. Trees are also good sources of oxygen for the planet, and for the animals that rely on oxygen.

However, if trees are allowed to regrow and allowed to live, we will have a better chance of keeping the planet hospitable to us and to the rest of the flora and fauna that live on earth alongside us. Trees are needed, and if there’s a business to keep it alive, then there it is.

This helps combine forests and agriculture, providing benefits and reducing the negative effects of widespread deforestation. Thanks to the development of trees alongside the vast acres of land growing crops, the biodiversity can return.

Moreover, the problem with soil erosion, leeching and environmental risks are reduced. It helps to create interactions between the natural trees and the crops, to create a diverse ecosystem from which the nature and man can avail benefits simultaneously. It is a great plan, with promising results and benefits for the earth.
