If they could be exhaused, they could hardly be termed 'renewable' now could they? It's a matter of analysing each resource separately and imagining ways in which they could be exhausted. Oxygen.

Solar Energy, fresh water etc. It pretty well comes to obliterating life on earth if we imagine ways in which each of these can no longer be renewed, we are describing a situation in which Life as we know it cannot exist.

No. Not if you're willing to celebrate your mother every day. But most need a reminder. They've been helped along the way by people such as Ann Reeves Jarvis in 1908 who publicly celebrated her mother and made it a holiday, but way back in Grecian times there was a special festival for Hilaria, connected with motherhood, and Christians, of course, have Mothering Sunday which has largely been usurped by Mother's Day.
