This is unlikely. There is anger that comes from an upsetting incident, a fairly rare situation for most. Talking over the incident with a wise friend not involved with the incident themselves may put a different light on it and reduce your anger. This is because you are seeing the situation from another point of view.
Then there is anger that is part of someone's personality; i.e. angry responses all the time. Such a person woud benefit from anger management sessions. Without this, taking a moment, counting to ten, even turning away and then back again can dissipate the height of the rage and enable the person to react more rationally.
